In a world where warships fly across the skies, Kou and Qing are at war. Gaw, a Kong Xia survivor whose people were exterminated by the Kou now travels with a girl named Fa, who has been cursed by a magician so that all who touch her lose their lives. They now journey together to find a magician who can lift Fa's curse, though magicians are thought to have died out long ago.
