Lady Suiren, a snake deity and the lady of the land, is given Suzu, a young woman as an offering for her to devour, but a meal worthy of the deity must be of the highest quality, so Suzu is instead showered with delights from her slithery master.

Suzu is "supposed" to be a meal, but the deity's fondness for the girl suggests otherwise...
