Eiko is an office clerk at a toy company. While her daily tasks don't stand out, they are essential to the company and she makes sure to complete them properly every day.

However one day, she made a mistake at work and was lectured harshly by her boss over it. She found it absurd that she never got acknowledged for usually carrying out her job well but instead got scolded for the one time she made a mistake.

To add to this, her boss' right-hand man, Bandou asked her out for dinner after that. Eiko was scared of what she'll face during the dinner but contrary to her fear, Bandou started showering her with compliments instead!

But somehow, those "compliments" feel kind of off?
