This is the first story of the (already complete) Narcissus Black series.
What people call Heaven, is actually two places. One is a place of Light, ruled by the God of Law, a place where souls can find a brief respite before they continue on their endless journey of reincarnation. The other place is Darkness, the realm of death. A place where souls can find eternal peace. Death, who lived in Darkness, believes that the world will be destroyed after a hundred years. To gain control over Light, he has descended onto earth, into the soul of a youth called Esuke KIRI.
