This two-parter story show us the two ex-pilots still gravitating around each other in some kind of semi-established relationship several years after the war. Duo's increasing doubts come to a climax after the announcement of Relena's imminent political marriage, leaving him torn between what he wants and what he believes it's right. Meanwhile, Heero is unable to soothe him, and can't understand why the braided ex-pilot is suddenly withdrawing from him and talking about other people's deserved happiness...
