Asrun's mother dies then the father remarries. Soon after the father passes on as well and leaves Asrun in the hands of his cruel stepmother(?) and stepsisters(?). Now there's a ball and everyone is going, wath as Asrun is forced, I mean goes to the ball to meet his prince with the help of his trusted mice and his fairygodmother(?). It's a happy ever after with a twist.
